WEBINAR – Feedback on the “Kiwa Capacity Building Needs Assessment to implement Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for Climate Change Adaptation” Report
Kiwa Initiative, SPC and SPREP

Our partners SPC and SPREP, in charge of the Technical Assistance component of the Kiwa Initiative®, have presented the main findings and recommendations from the “Kiwa Capacity Building Needs Assessment to implement Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for Climate Change Adaptation” Report.

During six months, they have worked to identify capacity building needs of local and national stakeholders from the 19 Kiwa eligible ACP countries and French OCTs for:

  • Better developing, implementing and monitoring of rights-based, gender-sensitive and socially-inclusive NbS projects for climate change adaptation and biodiversity conservation.
  • Mainstreaming these NbS approaches in climate change adaptation and other relevant sectoral policies and strategic frameworks.

The executive summary of this report, as the full publication, will be available shortly.
