The Kiwa Initiative attends the IUCN World Conservation Congress in Marseille (France)

The Initiative brought together on the 6^th of September 2021 during a High-Level Session organized by IUCN ORO, representatives of the European Union, AFD, IUCN and SPC but also Mr. Joshua Wycliffe, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Environment and Waterways of Fiji, Mr. Paino Vanai, Head of the Environment Department of Wallis and Futuna and Palau Conservation Society.

This session took place in the Oceania-Hawai’i Pavilion and introduced Nature-based Solutions and their role in climate resilience, as well as the functioning, objectives and innovation brought by the Initiative.
