As part of the current call for ideas for regional projects, closed by April 4th, 2022, the Pacific Community (SPC) and the Secretariat of Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP), partners of the Kiwa Initiative, are inviting eligible organizations to a webinar to present the Kiwa Initiative and its technical assistance and funding opportunities for the regional projects.
Grants ranging from 1.5 to 5 million euros are open to regional projects designed to strengthen the resilience of the communities, ecosystems and economies of Pacific Island Countries and Territories.
Two dates are proposed for this webinar which will take place from 8:00 to 10:00 am, Noumea time – interpretation English/French will be available on :
Wednesday 15th and Friday 17th of December, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. (Noumea time)
This event will present and discuss:
- the scope of the Initiative and eligibility criteria of the call,
- the Nature-based Solutions as an efficient tool for climate change adaptation,
- the technical assistance your country or territory is eligible to, with practical feedback from the previous 2021 call for projects,
- the concept note template and the way the different items are drafted.
