Timor-Leste: Restoring Water Sources and Strengthening Food Systems
18 February 2025
In Aileu Municipality, Permatil is working to restore water sources and enhance local food systems.
With support from the Kiwa Initiative, the project distributed 2,760 water conservation and fruit saplings to 63 households in Remexio Sub-District.
Community members are eager to plant these trees during the wet season, with the hope that they will generate sustainable income in the future.
