Project activities with the partner communities of Lahapau and Lehewa - PNG
02 November 2024
In October, the WCS team in PNG stepped up Kiwa WISH+ project activities with the partner communities of Lahapau and Lehewa, on the north coast of Manus.
On the program:
- Water safety and management plans: discussions for healthy, sustainable water.
- Raising awareness and monitoring conservation agreements, strengthening local preservation commitments.
- Participatory mapping, so that everyone can take part in protecting their environment.
A big step towards a more sustainable future for Manus, with the commitment of its inhabitants.
