PEBACC +: Scaling-up ecosystem-based adaptation to climate change in the Pacific Islands

In the fight against forest fires, solidarity is essential. The PEBACC+ project highlights the collective efforts of local communities, elders, women, youth and government authorities joining forces to improve fire management.
In Kouaoua, this project supports communities by providing technical and financial resources to develop sustainable solutions adapted to their environment. These collaborative actions aim to strengthen the resilience of territories in the face of climate challenges, by preserving ecosystems and protecting local populations.
