Youth rubbish clean up from the wteland area at the Ano Hehea site in 2023

TNYC conducted ecosystem protection activities at Lokupo, Ano Hehea, Mo'ungalafa, and Sopu reef conservation sites. Activities included poaching prevention, data collection, invasive species removal, species surveys, collaboration with authorities, youth projects, habitat restoration, and rubbish collection.

The project engages local communities to foster environmental ownership and promote the value of nature. Embracing Nature-based Solutions (NbS) aims for a harmonious coexistence of humans and nature, with everyone taking responsibility for environmental stewardship.
