PACIFIC RESILIENCE MEETING: Community-driven Nature-based Solutions Building Resilience and Sustainability

Save the date: Our partners the Pacific Community-SPC, Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) and IUCN Oceania will chair a dedicated session on NbS at the Pacific Resilience Meeting #PRM on October 11th at 12.30 PM (UTC +11).

The session will bring together a lineup of inspiring speakers who will share insights and feedback from community members and local partners involved in the PACRES, CRxN, and Kiwa Initiative® WISH+ projects:

Kevin Egu will share rejuvenation success stories on coral restoration.

- Ratu Ovini Bokini will provide valuable insights into self-reliant communities.

- Reminvai Vitau will champion the critical role of women in climate adaptation.

- Thomas Yalu, experiencing a Kiwa #WISH+ regional project in Solomon Islands, will recount his collaborative journey in watershed interventions.
