SPREP is one of the main scientific and technical intergovernmental organizations in the region that reinforce #capacities of Pacific countries and territories in terms of Nature-based Solutions #NbS and climate change adaptation.
SPREP together with Kiwa Initiative and other stakeholders are addressing climate change resilience in the region through projects. Did you know that SPREP coordinates the PEBACC+ regional project, funded by Kiwa Initiative and the French Facility for Global Environment (FFEM)? PEBACC+ project is deploying ecosystem-based climate change adaptation in Fiji, Solomon Islands, New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Wallis and Futuna.
Through SPREP's expertise, the Kiwa Initiative is committed to building the local and national capacity of Pacific Island Countries and Territories for better integration of Nature-based solutions
#NbS into public policy.
