Closure of the 2024 Call for Regional Projects !

Thank you all for your contributions on this 2024 Call for regional projects.

What are the next steps for the projects that have been submitted?

1. Project analysis: your concept note will be analyzed according to the various criteria detailed in the terms of reference.
2. Selection and decision: the voting members of the Kiwa Initiative's Strategic Orientation Committee (COS), made up of the 5 donors and 3 representatives of the Pacific island states and territories, will be asked to issue a favorable or unfavorable opinion by the end of May 2025.
3. Appraisal of favorable projects: A favorable opinion from COS members enables AFD to begin appraising the selected projects. This stage, including contractualization, takes an average of 8 months.
