AFD (Agence française de développement) and the Kiwa Initiative Secretariat are delighted to meet with major Kiwa projects’ stakeholders in Fiji for the next two weeks!
The delegation will be meeting with some Kiwa local and regional project leaders in the field, donors’ representatives, partners, local institutions, along with the Pacific Islands officials.
Moreover, the Kiwa Initiative Steering Committee meeting will be held in Suva on July 19th.
After 2 years of closed frontiers due to Covid-19, it will be the opportunity to:
- Meet and gather the Kiwa Initiative community in Fiji.
- Get leads on how to improve collaborative approaches and capacity building both at the regional and local level.
- Assess the challenges and opportunities for NbS projects in the Pacific.
Vinaka to all the people who will be available during our trip in Fiji, as our partner IUCN for their warm welcome on our first day.
Stay tuned to follow Kiwa Initiatives’ operations along the way!
